Aveo 2004 Chevrolet Aveo SE MVI good until April 2015 - Timing belt replaced & engine rebuilt November 2010 - New coil and plugs/wires January 2012 - 4 wheel alignment May 2012 - Both transmission cooler lines replaced July 2012 - Replaced throttle body & hoses with PCV kit from GM August 2012 - Both rear shocks replaced, both front calipers and pads replaced November 2012 - Rear brakes replaced May 2013 - Oil change May 2013 - Car has had a misfire since the engine was rebuilt. We changed the coil, plugs, wires, etc. to fix it. A mechanic told me during last inspection that it seems to him that the cause for misfire is a vacuum leak - most likely the head gasket. I have purchased the head gasket but it is not installed - an easy job for a backyard mechanic. Interior of the vehicle is in great condition; no fabric tears or stains, and was not smoked in during my ownership (July 2008). The car has some minor body surface rust, but runs fine & was used to travel between Halifax & the Valley on a regular basis until 3 weeks ago. It is great on gas - roughly $40 to fill her up and that gets you 300-350km highway driving. I'm just at the point where I am done with this car - I bought new a couple weeks ago and now want this one gone. Car comes with four winter tires, on rims, at the full asking price.
